An online alert regarding potential child sexual abuse material led to the arrest of a West Palm Beach man after deputies uncovered dozens of illicit files on his devices, aided by CRC technology.

Johnny Aleman, 38, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with 30 felony counts of possession of 10 or more images child sexual abuse material. He is being held on a $5,000 bond for each charge and has been ordered not to have contact with children or access the internet.

The investigation began in early October and using CRC technology, investigators were able to trace the files to an IP address linked to Aleman’s home. This advanced software enabled the identification of 210 unique files that were marked as potentially containing child sexual abuse material.

The files revealed disturbing and violent content involving very young children, with some files allegedly depicting abuse of children as young as under four years old. Further investigation uncovered file-sharing software on Aleman’s computer, which is commonly used to exchange CSAM.
