Privacy Policy

This policy document provides information on how Child Rescue Coalition (hereafter CRC) handles, stores and, where appropriate, deletes information and data shared with us.

DONOR PRIVACY POLICY

CRC appreciates and values the support provided to us by our donors and believe we have a responsibility to protect any information provided to us.

CRC will maintain a record of donor’s personal details only as necessary to process the donations made to the organization. CRC will not sell, trade or share a donor’s personal information with any other person or organization. CRC will not send donor any mailings on behalf of other organizations. We utilize a system called Stripe for the processing of donations. CRC does not have access to your credit / debit card information or bank details in this transaction. We do not publish the details of donators without their express written permission.

Any donor checks sent directly to us are forwarded to our bank for processing. We will always seek to acknowledge receipt and thank anyone who chooses to aid our mission. Where a donor has supplied contact details, we will endeavor to reach out to them to thank them for their generosity which we constitute being a legitimate interest. We will not subsequently retain their personal data, unless they choose to subscribe to our newsletter or to receive other relevant updates about the organization.

WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA

We use Google Analytics to interpret our website’s traffic to ensure it is working in the best way possible and to allow us to continually improve the experience for users.

Any information gathered for this purpose is for internal use only and contains no personal information. The Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer or other device you use to access the website is used to gather anonymized statistical data. It is not retained with a view to identifying you personally by either ourselves or Google Analytics. We have a legitimate interest in monitoring the use of our website which is for the purpose of continual improvement.
