FDLE Arrests Three Central Florida Men in Statewide Child Exploitation Investigation

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) announced the arrest of three Central Florida men following a statewide investigation into the online possession and sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). According to FDLE, Martin Theodore Cassady, 60, of Maitland, and Jorge Nieto, 39, of Apopka, were each charged with 40 counts of possession of CSAM. Joel Orellana, 25, of Kissimmee, faces two counts. CRC Technology Assists Law Enforcement in Stopping Livestream Child Abuse

A man from East Württemberg has been arrested for orchestrating and controlling the sexual abuse of children in the Philippines via livestream. Authorities say he commissioned serious acts of abuse, directed them according to his instructions, and followed the assaults in real-time online. He is currently in pre-trial detention, according to the Cybercrime Center Baden-Württemberg. Investigators traced the suspect after authorities in the Philippines dismantled a pedocriminal network. The accused in that network had offered live broadcasts of sexual abuse against children for a fee.
