Friday the 13th of May was a bad day for criminals involved in trading images and videos of children being sexually abused.
Using CRC Technology investigators began targeting offenders using unregulated parts of the Internet to obtain and share child sexual abuse material – CSAM.
Unfortunately for these criminals our technology can track the trade of this material and allows law enforcement officers to begin building a case against the perpetrators.
There was a total of 9 search warrants executed and 3 arrests have already made in connection with this operation.
Proactive investigations, like this one, form an important part of the response in combating the sexual exploitation of children.
