Two FBI agents were killed in Sunrise, Florida this week when serving a search warrant on a suspect accused of crimes against children.

“These bad guys committed, in my view, one of the worst crimes on the planet, involved in the sexual abuse and rape of children,” said Glen Pounder, Child Rescue Coalition COO. “Some of them are obviously desperate. In this case, he obviously didn’t want to be taken into custody to face justice.”

Former FBI agent, Stuart Kaplan, also spoke on the dangers of the job. He explains how though search warrants are diligently planned, they sadly can result in such a tragic end.

Child Rescue Coalition mourns the tragic death and injuries of law enforcement agents who were serving a search warrant on a child protection investigation. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences for the families of these heroes.
