COVID Has Pushed More Kids Online, but also Predators

Reports continue to show a surge in predators distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) online; and sadly, that’s been seen in South Florida. Already this year, there’s been three high-profile child sexual abuse cases in the area. These offenders included a high school monitor and two doctors.

“Bad guys definitely view this as a great time for them to try and lure and otherwise groom kids online,” said Glen Pounder, the COO of Child Rescue Coalition.
