Over 150 officers carry out raids
- September 30, 2021
More than 150 officers from the Brazilian Federal police completed 36 search warrants on September 29th in connection with child sexual abuse.
The investigations were launched following proactive use of CRC Technology which allows law enforcement worldwide to identify and arrest criminals with an illegal sexual interest in children.
Law enforcement and digital forensic specialists now need to perform the difficult and lengthy process of examining thousands of pieces of evidence. This will lead to judicial charges and we hope ensure the criminals involved in the sexual abuse of children are successfully prosecuted for their offenses.
We are grateful to our Brazilian colleagues for their ongoing determination to proactively investigate these terrible crimes.
