CRC Technology Training with Polizia di Stato in Rome
- December 12, 2024
From December 4th to the 6th, the Polizia di Stato hosted in Rome a specialized training organized by the U.S.-based Child Rescue Coalition.
CRC has been dedicated for years to training law enforcement agencies worldwide in combating child exploitation in the darkest corners of the internet. The training involved personnel from all Operational Centers for Cybersecurity in Italy, aiming to provide nationwide updates for comprehensive online child protection and enhance technological skills in identifying victims of online sexual exploitation and apprehending their abusers.
Tom Farrell, Director of Core Technology and Academia said; “It was amazing to conclude 2024 by training the first group of Italian State Police Officers in Rome. CRC has formed an important partnership with key stakeholders in Italy, with exciting collaboration planned for 2025. I would like to thank the dedicated officers who attended the training, which was expertly led by our Director of Training, Jay Houston.”
