CRC Technology Instrumental in Federal Child Protection Operation
- May 21, 2025
On the morning of Wednesday, May 21, the Federal Police launched Operation Protected Innocence XI, targeting the online sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The operation was triggered after approximately 1,000 CSAM files were shared over the course of a month.
CRC Technology played a key role in identifying the suspect and further assisting law enforcement in apprehending the individual.
A search and seizure warrant, issued by the Federal Justice, was carried out in São Gonçalo do Amarante/CE. The goal was to collect further evidence, identify potential victims, and determine the individual responsible for the crimes, as initial data pointed to a local internet connection but not a specific person.
The individual under investigation may face charges for sharing and storing CSAM with potential for additional charges as the analysis of seized materials continues.
Over 1,000 child abuse files were uncovered in just one month. With help from CRC Technology, a suspect was identified and law enforcement took action. You can help stop the next predator. Give monthly to power CRC Technology. Join now!
