On March 14th, Brazilian Federal Police started the 8ª phase of Operation Élpis, aimed to combat the sharing and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in Ribeirão Preto/SP, Brazil.

During the Operation, a search and seizure warrant was carried out with the objective of locating devices used in the storage and sharing of CSAM. During the previous analysis on the site, a vast amount of files containing scenes of child sexual exploitation were located, which led to the arrest of the suspect in the act. Computer equipment and other items of interest were seized for further investigation.
