On June 25, 2025, following an investigation into the downloading of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), members of the Toronto Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Section, with the critical assistance of CRC Technology, executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the York Mills Road and Don Mills Road area.

Peter Brochu, 35, of Toronto, has been taken into custody.
