A huge operation across France has resulted in the arrest of 52 individuals in relation to the sexual abuse of young children.
Utilizing CRC Technology, Officers from the French National Police were able to track and eventually identify those who were trading horrific images and videos of children being abused.
Among those arrested were people who had jobs in positions of trust, including a school teacher who admitted to having a sexual interest in young boys.
In addition officers have already established that some of the offenders were actively abusing children they had access to.
Glen Pounder COO:
“Child Rescue Coalition is proud to partner with the French National Police in order to combat the growing threat of child sexual abuse.
Proactive operations like this form a key part of the overall strategy in protecting children. These arrests send a clear message that these dangerous criminals – in possession of and sharing pictures and videos of children being horrifically abused – will be identified and brought to justice.
We commend the professionalism of the investigators and appreciate that there remains a huge amount of work to do with hundreds of electronic devices and crucial preparation of evidence in relation to the crimes committed.”
