A French National faces a prison term following an investigation mounted by French police using CRC Technology.
Officers investigating child sexual abuse and the trading of images and videos of this crime led to the identification of a 49 year old who cannot be named due to French laws.
The investigation established that the main suspect had previously been prosecuted for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in 2009. On that occasion he was sentenced to 6 months in prison but it was suspended, and he served no jail time. 
This time, despite efforts to hide the evidence of his crimes, CRC Technology was able to help pinpoint that he had again been involved in accessing child rape videos. 
Further evidence of his illegal sexual interest was revealed when he admitted to police that he had been attracted to young prepubescent boys for many years.
