Repeat Offender Arrested After CRC Technology Assists Investigation
- March 7, 2018
With the help of CRC Technology, detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Cyber Crimes Unit arrested Stanley Swiacki following an investigation focusing on the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Detectives identified approximately 556 files of known child sexual abuse material (CSAM) being downloaded and shared over the internet.
CRC Technology provides the most comprehensive view of where child predators around the world are downloading and sharing explicit content online.
On March 5, 2018, MCSO executed a search warrant at the home of Swiacki in Phoenix, AZ. Swiacki has a history of prior allegations involving young boys dating back to 2011. Over 1,200 additional suspected CSAM files were found on his laptop.
Swiacki was booked on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a Class 2 Felony and Dangerous Crime Against Children.
CRC Technology played a vital role in identifying and arresting a repeat child predator who had been exploiting children for years. But this is just one case—thousands more children still need protection. You can help.
