A Phoenix man has been arrested after allegedly sharing over 500 files of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through a peer-to-peer network. Detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit traced the activity to Alan Rognlin.

Investigators used CRC Technology to identify Rognlin. He admitted to using file-sharing software and having CSAM involving victims as young as 3 years old. Authorities also noted Rognlin has a prior history of hands-on offenses against children.
