CRC Technology Partners with Law Enforcement in Bakersfield CSAM Arrest

On June 9, a 71-year-old man from Bakersfield, California, was arrested for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), with assistance from CRC Technology.

In the early morning hours, officers from the Bakersfield Police Department, Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, FBI, and U.S. Secret Service carried out a search warrant on Shattuck Avenue.

According to Bakersfield Police Department, the investigation is part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Program — a nationwide initiative involving 61 coordinated task forces and more than 5,400 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.

Neal Pendleton, 71, was taken into custody on suspicion of possessing and sharing child sexual abuse material. The investigation is ongoing.
