CRC Technology Instrumental in Identification and Arrest of Columbus Suspect in CSAM Case

A two-month investigation by the Indiana State Police-Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has led to the arrest of Brian Willment, 45, of Columbus, Indiana, on ten felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and bestiality.
Detective Robert Whyte initiated the investigation after receiving a cyber tip and utilized CRC Technology to identify Willment. A search warrant was executed at Willment’s home, uncovering additional digital evidence. He was taken into custody and booked into the Bartholomew County Jail pending a court appearance.
The investigation was supported by the Columbus Police Department, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department, and Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office.
