CRC Technology Enables Federal Police to Stop CSAM Sharing

On May 16, the Federal Police arrested a man suspected of storing and sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The arrest occurred at the suspect’s workplace during the execution of two search and seizure warrants.
The investigation, supported by CRC Technology, enabled law enforcement to identify the suspect. One warrant was carried out at the suspect’s workplace in Florianópolis, and the other at his residence in São José/SC.
During the searches, authorities seized computer equipment, cell phones, and storage devices. A preliminary on-site analysis confirmed the presence of illegal images and videos depicting CSAM.
The suspect was arrested.
