CRC Team Member Receives Queen’s Medal

Lord Lieutenant Gawn Rowan Hamilton presented Susan Owens BEM with her medal at an official investiture ceremony held at Killyleagh Castle in County Down, Northern Ireland.
The Lord Lieutenant is Her Majesty the Queen’s Representative in County Down.
Susan was recognized by Her Majesty the Queen in January’s New Year Honors list. The British Empire Medal (BEM) bestowed upon her is in recognition of her meritorious service in UK/US and Overseas Territories relations.
Susan has now been with Child Rescue Coalition for over a year and serves as our Director of Outreach and Events.
We couldn’t be prouder of Susan for this well-deserved recognition, and we are delighted for both her and her family!
