Child Rescue Coalition Supports Global Live-Stream Offender Operation – The Largest and Most Successful Operation Of Its Kind

  • April 15, 2026

Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) is honored to have partnered with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to sponsor an operational sprint attended by 80 officers from 25 police organizations and 19 countries. During this week-long operation, 303 high harm live-stream offenders from 21 countries were identified. This was the largest and most successful operation of its kind. CRC has developed and provided technology to assist a global law enforcement effort under Op Pharos to identify and investigate offenders involved in the trafficking and live-stream sexual abuse of children. Also referred to as Live Distance Child Abuse (LDCA), these offenders are from developed countries who prey on vulnerable children in developing countries.

A single offender can cause the victimization of hundreds of children from across the globe with a phone, internet connection, and method of payment. Live-streaming offenses often go undetected and can be difficult to investigate without specialized tools and global collaboration between law enforcement and non-government organizations is essential.

Michael McGonigle, CRC Director of Special Projects said,  “Working with such dedicated professionals whose mission is to safeguard children and arrest high harm offenders is such an honor. Each one of the offenders caused the rape of a child with the average age being 9 and the work of these officers will hold the offenders accountable for their victimization and stop many future acts of abuse.”

The operational sprint would not have been possible without the critical work of Homeland Security Investigations, and support from The Tim Tebow Foundation, Europol and all the international law enforcement organizations who are dedicated to fight LDCA. A special thanks to OSINT Technologies for providing specialized training and software. CRC also appreciates Oscar Kilo for attending to provide support to our law enforcement partners during the sprint operation.
