FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Team CRC returns to the world’s largest marathon to raise critical funds supporting technology that helps law enforcement identify and rescue children from online sexual exploitation.
NEW YORK, NY — Child Rescue Coalition is proud to announce it has been selected as an Official Charity Partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, hosted by New York Road Runners (NYRR). Team CRC will take on the streets of New York City this November, raising funds to advance Child Rescue Coalition’s mission to help protect children from online sexual exploitation through technology, training, and support for law enforcement worldwide.
Held on the first Sunday each November, the TCS New York City Marathon is consistently the largest marathon in the world, bringing together 55,000+ participants and an estimated two million spectators for one of the most iconic events in sports.
“Being named an Official Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon is an incredible honor,” said Greg Schiller, CEO of Child Rescue Coalition. “Every mile our runners complete helps strengthen the tools and training that law enforcement agencies utilize to identify and prosecute offenders and rescue children. We’re proud to stand alongside NYRR and this global running community to create real impact.”
The New York City Marathon began in 1970 as four laps around Central Park with just 55 finishers. In 1976, it expanded into all five boroughs to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial, setting the standard for the modern marathon experience. Today, the race remains a landmark event and a powerful platform for charitable impact.
Team CRC’s 2026 marathon team builds on strong momentum from last year, raising just over $30,000 to support Child Rescue Coalition’s mission.
