Child abuse suspect arrested after 18 years of offending

Police utilized CRC Technology to identify a man who was involved in possessing and offering to distribute images and videos of children being sexually abused.
The 32 year old suspect told police that he had been accessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) for an incredible 18 years – since the age of 14.
More than 2,000 CSAM images and videos were found at the address of the suspect.
The pain that is experienced by survivors of child sexual abuse knowing that this material is being traded by criminals like this causes distress and anguish. This suspect now face a prison sentence in relation to his crimes, officers will also see what other crimes against children he may be responsible for.
