On March 30th, Civil Police in Brazil arrested a 27-year-old man with help from CRC Technology. Not only did law enforcement find a large amount of child sexual abuse material on his devices, they also found that the offender had created fake social media accounts to gather more of this material from children and teenagers. This investigation was supported by the GIS of Dourados and are offshoots of Operation Sentinel, developed permanently by DEPCA, from the partnership with Child Rescue Coalition.

In 2018, the same residence had already been the target of Operation Light of Childhood, triggered by DEPCA. At the time, the father of the suspect was arrested for the same crimes.
