A Global First: Operation Pharos

  • March 20, 2026

In January 2025, Child Rescue Coalition helped launch Operation Pharos (Op Pharos), the first-ever global task force dedicated to combating the growing threat of live-streamed child sexual abuse.

Supported by the Tim Tebow Foundation, this groundbreaking initiative brought together law enforcement partners from 20 countries, united by a shared mission: to identify and stop demand-side offenders who fuel this form of exploitation in real time.

Since its formation, Operation Pharos has already driven meaningful, measurable impact:

  • 700+ investigations initiated
  • 62 offenders arrested
  • 63 children rescued and safeguarded
  • 255 investigators trained in handling live-stream abuse cases

These numbers represent only reported outcomes. The true reach and impact of this global effort are likely far greater.

Live-streamed abuse is uniquely urgent, every moment matters. Unlike other forms of exploitation, these crimes happen in real time, often across borders, making rapid identification and coordinated response critical. Operation Pharos is changing that.

By equipping investigators with advanced technology, specialized training, and global collaboration, Child Rescue Coalition and its partners are accelerating the ability to intervene, not someday, but immediately.

Behind every number is a child whose life has been changed forever. Every rescue means a child removed from harm at the moment they need it most.

This is what your support makes possible.

The demand for this work is growing, and so is the need for resources to support investigators on the front lines.

Make a donation today to help power the technology, training, and global partnerships that make operations like Pharos possible. Your support enables law enforcement to identify offenders faster, rescue children sooner, and stop abuse in real time.
