Operation Innocence – Company Servers Seized

To use CRC Technology law enforcement officers must attend and successfully complete an intensive training course taught by our experienced cadre of professional instructors. 
To identify the physical location of a suspect the law enforcement officers must then use legal procedures to resolve the suspect’s IP address (the Internet address) to a real-world location (the suspect’s physical address).
Recently, investigators in Brazil proceeded to use this same procedure with an Internet Service Provider (known as an “ISP”) who refused to cooperate with the police investigation into criminals trading images and videos of young children being sexually abused and raped. 
The resistance to comply with the law, and help identify criminal pedophiles, did not deter the Police Specialist Cyber ​​Crimes Unit. They applied for a Search Warrant against the business of the Internet Service Provider. The warrant was executed this week and resulted in the seizure of servers belonging to that company.
This operation was completed with the knowledge and support of Child Rescue Coalition, the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and the US Embassy in Brazil through the office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
