Using CRC Technology officers conducted a series of investigations from which they were able to successfully apply for multiple search warrants. Police then conducted coordinated operations involving more than 400 staff across dozens of locations.

30 suspects were arrested in connection with crimes against children. The material being traded by those in custody included images and videos of young children being sexually abused.

Work will begin immediately to forensically assess the evidence taken from the electronic devices found at the premises and to ascertain whether more children have been assaulted.
