61 Arrested in Nationwide Child Exploitation Operation Led by Child Rescue Coalition’s Investigator of the Year
- June 27, 2025
The Spanish National Police have arrested 61 individuals and are investigating 17 more for the possession, production, and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The operation, involving over 100 searches across nearly all provinces, was coordinated by David Reguero Novoa, Child Rescue Coalition’s Investigator of the Year, and supported by CRC Technology, which played a vital role in identifying and arresting suspects.
More than 200 agents participated in the investigation, led by the Central Cybercrime Unit and the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Computer Crime. Authorities seized hundreds of electronic devices, including computers, phones, hard drives, and USBs.
Among those arrested: a high school teacher with foster children, a former soldier with nine firearms, and a computer engineer using advanced methods to distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
This national operation was possible thanks to CRC Technology and investigators like David Reguero Novoa. But the work isn’t done. Support Child Rescue Coalition—donate, share, or get involved to help protect vulnerable children around the globe.
