February 21, 2025 – The Veneto Postal Police, following a complex investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Venice, CRC Technology, and the National Center for the Fight against Online Child Pornography (CNCPO), have arrested six individuals for the distribution and possession of large quantities of child sexual abuse material. This operation, named “Custodia Pro Spes,” was carried out across the region, culminating in seven searches.

During the searches carried out in the provinces of Venice, Belluno, Rovigo, Vicenza, Padua, and Verona, police utilized CRC Technology to identify and arrest the suspects. One of the searches even uncovered a “collection” of illicit material, carefully cataloged and meticulously archived in DVD binders.

The arrested suspects, all male and ranging in age from 51 to 70, come from various social backgrounds.
