CRC Technology Empowering Global Law Enforcement to Combat Live Distance Child Abuse

  • April 1, 2025

Child Rescue Coalition is grateful to have supported a recent operational sprint attended by 14 police organizations and 2 non-government organizations from 13 countries. During this week-long operation, 146 offenders from 22 countries were identified. CRC has developed and provided new technology to assist a global law enforcement effort to identify and investigate live-stream child sex abuse offenders. Also referred to as Live Distance Child Abuse (LDCA). These offenders are from developed countries who prey on vulnerable children in developing countries and a single offender can victimize hundreds of children each year with only a few dollars, an internet connection and a smart phone. Live-streaming offenses often go undetected and can be difficult to investigate without specialized tools.

“Working with such dedicated professionals whose mission is to safeguard children and arrest high harm offenders is such an honor. Putting CRC’s technology in the hands of this global coalition of law enforcement officers will make a significant impact in the fight against LDCA.” – Michael McGonigle, CRC Director of Special Projects & Industry Outreach

The operational sprint would not have been possible without the critical work of The Tim Tebow Foundation, Homeland Security Investigations, International Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Europol and all the international law enforcement organizations who are dedicated to fight LDCA.

Take action now and join the global movement to stop child sexual abuse, trafficking and exploitation.
