In a major operation across Quebec, 17 men were arrested in connection with the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. CRC technology aided authorities in seizing more than 450,000 files with a significant portion of the material traced to a single suspect. Since the start of 2024, the Sûreté du Québec’s Sexual Exploitation of Children on the Internet unit has processed a staggering 4,900 reports—an increase of nearly 300% compared to the same period in 2019.
