During Operation Élpis, Brazil Federal Police, with the aid of CRC Technology, identified and arrested a man in the Sertãozinho area of Brazil on suspicion of storing and sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The suspect was caught red-handed and arrested.

The task force also executed other search and seizure warrants at a residence and business address of someone being investigated for similar crimes.

Electronic equipment were seized by authorities for for further examination. The suspect arrested during the operation was taken to the Federal Police station in Ribeirão Preto, for booking.
