A school child psychologist from Tennessee was arrested on child pornography charges in Hollywood on Tuesday night. According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office report, Richard Pitcock, 51, was busted sharing child porn images from the St. Maurice Inn, located at 314 Michigan St. in Hollywood.

The South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children/Human Trafficking Task Force received information of someone sharing and advertising child porn images through the internet via several hotels. The task force tracked down 25 separate images via the IP address to room number 34 at the St. Maurice’s.

There, investigators found Pitcock, who authorities say had images of children involved in sexual activity or in sexually explicit poses. Investigators found other devices used for image storage in the the room that were seized for forensic analysis, the report says.

According to his profile on Psychology Today, Pitcock is a senior psychological examiner and licensed school psychologist in the Cheatham County School District in Tennessee.

In his profile, Pitcock describes himself as “dedicated to offering sound evaluation and assessment procedures” and offers psychological testing and assessments, including ADHD screenings, autism evaluations, and psychosexual evaluations.

Pitcock has been ordered held on $5,000 bond for each count.

The Cheatham County School District, meanwhile, has suspended Pitcock without pay pending the result of the investigation..
